Responsibilities
- Develop production-ready machine learning and deep learning models using Python and relevant libraries.
- Design and evaluate neural network architectures for NLP, computer vision, healthcare, and generative AI use cases.
- Build data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, validation processes, monitoring, and error analysis systems.
- Integrate, optimize, and deploy models in scalable production environments using cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration.
- Apply prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, transfer learning, and transformer-based techniques for LLM and generative AI solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, clinicians, engineers, and annotation teams to define measurable ML use cases, acceptance criteria, and data-labeling priorities.
- Contribute to reproducible training and evaluation tooling, model governance documentation, runbooks, reviews, and technical discussions.
- Support responsible AI, model safety, fairness, security, privacy, reliability, and cost optimization efforts.
- Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, limitations, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning or deep learning models in production.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience developing complex deep learning models and neural network architectures.
- Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow, transformer models, and NLP or computer vision libraries and evaluation metrics.
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI techniques, prompt engineering, and training or fine-tuning LLMs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments and infrastructure, including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Harness, and EKS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-facing documentation.
- Ability to own end-to-end technical work, communicate model trade-offs, and produce clean, documented, reliable, and auditable solutions.
