Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Validate system requirements and contribute to software requirements iteration.
- Collaborate with systems engineers and software teams to define validation strategies.
- Design, implement, and execute test scenarios for the autonomous drone delivery software stack.
- Lead software systems validation strategy focused on performance, reliability, and safety.
- Build software performance and safety monitors for real-time systems.
- Collaborate with test infrastructure and data platform teams to build validation frameworks.
- Debug complex validation failures across simulation, hardware, and software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Development, Systems Engineering, or Software Validation with robotic systems.
- Experience in perception, motion planning, navigation, control, or estimation & dynamics.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, SQL) and programming languages for safety-critical applications (MISRA C, Rust, C++).
- Experience developing testing for robotics applications and working with large data sets.
- Ability to root cause failures in complex autonomous systems.
