Base Salary
$264k - $380k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build peer-level relationships with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, chief architects, and heads of data and AI at strategic customer accounts.
- Lead architectural steering, technical reviews, and executive strategy alignment for customer AI roadmaps.
- Own end-to-end technical execution and outcomes across complex enterprise AI deployments.
- Write production code and working prototypes, review designs and code, and establish engineering standards.
- Lead the measurement and improvement of AI quality by defining clear, testable evaluation standards.
- Mentor Senior and Staff engineers and drive complex technical initiatives with cross-functional leaders.
- Convert customer and field-delivery patterns into reusable platforms, tools, frameworks, or open-source libraries.
- Spend at least 25% of working time onsite at customer locations.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years building and shipping production AI/ML or agentic systems at enterprise scale.
- Proven experience advising CTOs and executive engineering leaders at large enterprises.
- Deep expertise in production AI architectures, including RAG pipelines, multi-step agentic systems, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
- Hands-on production coding and code-review experience with a strong systems mindset.
- Exceptional technical communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience shipping features into a commercial data or AI platform is a bonus.
- Active contributions to open-source AI frameworks, technical publications, or industry speaking engagements are a bonus.
- Familiarity with Cortex AI, Snowpark, or modern enterprise data infrastructure platforms is a bonus.
