Base Salary
$150k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, solution design, architecture, and technical blueprinting for complex cross-functional data and AI problems.
- Select tools and architectures across varied platforms, data sources, and integration patterns while balancing speed, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Create architecture diagrams, data flow maps, API contracts, solution briefs, reusable reference designs, and delivery playbooks.
- Use AI coding assistants to prototype and implement production solutions, including building custom plugins and reusable skills.
- Redesign data pipelines and data flows, including source integration, transformation logic, and downstream delivery.
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems for complex workflow automation.
- Implement and extend Model Context Protocol servers and clients to connect agents with enterprise tools, APIs, and data sources.
- Develop evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and monitoring pipelines for reliable and safe production agents on AgentCore.
- Build front-end interfaces and dashboards that present data and AI outputs to business users.
- Mentor engineers, define technical standards, serve as an escalation point, and influence technical direction across multiple teams.
- Embed with cross-functional teams, translate ambiguous business requirements, and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial customer-facing or embedded technical delivery experience.
- Strong software architecture experience across varied tools and platforms, with the ability to independently design and defend system architectures.
- Hands-on experience using Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as a primary development workflow; experience building custom plugins or skills is a strong plus.
- Required hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents on AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
- Required experience implementing Model Context Protocol server and client integrations.
- Data engineering experience building and redesigning pipelines and data flows across varied sources.
- Full-stack development proficiency across backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces or dashboards.
- Experience mentoring engineers and defining technical standards adopted beyond individual projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent stakeholder relationships.
