Responsibilities
- Build working prototypes, API integrations, and agent workflows connecting multiple products and enterprise systems.
- Work with customers, portfolio leaders, and go-to-market teams to identify use cases with measurable business value.
- Create reliable, repeatable demonstrations that connect customer needs, system actions, and business results.
- Present technical solutions and demonstrations to executives, customers, developers, and sales teams.
- Experiment with new agentic experiences and architectures while distinguishing current capabilities, prototypes, and future concepts.
- Package reference architectures, integration components, demonstration environments, and playbooks for reuse.
- Measure implementation time, process cycle time, cost to serve, service resolution, and customer experience outcomes.
- Surface integration gaps, customer demand, and technical constraints to product and engineering leaders.
- Deliver initial customer scenarios, a multi-product working demonstration, and reusable validated assets within the first 90 days.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience personally building customer-facing software, integrations, or technical prototypes that solve business problems.
- Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or comparable languages, including the ability to build and debug across services and create a usable demonstration interface.
- Fluency in API architectures including authentication, webhooks, event-driven integration, data contracts, and reliable cross-system execution.
- Practical experience building with model and tool providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as relevant open-source agent frameworks and harnesses.
- Understanding of tool calling, retrieval, orchestration, context management, evaluations, observability, and human approval in agent workflows.
- Sound judgment regarding model limitations, reliability, latency, cost, data access, and prototype-to-deployment requirements.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, including live demonstrations and explanation of business significance.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, quickly learn unfamiliar products, and ship useful iterations with a small team.
- Experience in forward-deployed engineering, applied AI engineering, solutions engineering, customer-facing solution architecture, enterprise demonstrations, workflow automation, process intelligence, customer service, digital experience platforms, reusable technical assets, or startup/founding-engineer work is especially useful.
