Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack .NET solutions for EY’s Tax Technology practice.
- Estimate technical effort, create work breakdown structures, identify risks, and define solution approaches.
- Develop web applications using .NET, .NET Core, MVC, TypeScript, Angular or Vue, Web API, Entity Framework, and ADO.NET.
- Write SQL commands and stored procedures and perform database performance tuning.
- Monitor adherence to development methodologies, tools, and KPIs.
- Communicate consistently with team members, peers, stakeholders, and client teams.
- Contribute to application development and engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
- Identify problems proactively, evaluate causes and options, and lead appropriate resolutions.
- Provide supervision and direction to team members and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; BE, BTech, or MCA degree required.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in full stack .NET development.
- Strong experience with .NET, .NET Core, MVC, single-page applications, TypeScript, Angular or Vue, Web API, Entity Framework, and ADO.NET.
- Experience with SQL commands, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
- Exposure to third-party controls such as Telerik or Kendo UI.
- Working knowledge of Git or TFVC version control and exposure to Azure and microservices.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work with limited direction, collaborate across teams, and supervise team members.
- Master’s degree, management experience, and tax or finance domain knowledge are preferred.
