Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own, implement, operate, and continuously improve enterprise authentication and federation solutions.
- Implement and support SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, JWT-based integrations, SSO, provisioning, and secure API authentication.
- Integrate identity services with enterprise and third-party applications, APIs, SaaS platforms, directories, and custom web and mobile applications.
- Implement MFA, adaptive authentication, fine-grained access policies, and authorization models.
- Troubleshoot authentication and authorization flows, perform root-cause analysis and incident response, and tune performance.
- Support security, audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements and assessments.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams.
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Identity and Access Management experience or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing and operating commercial identity platforms and enterprise identity services, preferably Ping AIC and PingFederate.
- Deep knowledge of SSO, federation, authentication, and authorization protocols including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD/Entra ID, ADFS, lifecycle systems, and SCIM/API provisioning.
- Practical experience with MFA, adaptive authentication, fine-grained authorization, and access policy enforcement.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across authentication flows, certificates, TLS, networking, and related infrastructure.
- Scripting and automation skills with Shell, Python, Go, or PowerShell, plus familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC/CI-CD tools.
- Comfort working in Linux environments and producing operational documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include banking or financial services experience, cloud and container experience, API security, zero-trust architectures, CIAM, identity certifications, and observability or monitoring experience.
