Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of scalable enterprise applications.
- Perform root-cause analysis and present remediation options for application issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development pods, and technical teams to align solutions with application roadmaps.
- Estimate design and development effort, identify solution risks, and ensure reusable components meet business requirements.
- Participate in design discussions, peer reviews, and agile ceremonies.
- Provide technical support for escalated incidents and outages.
- Create and maintain design and solution artifacts while implementing continuous improvements.
- Provide technical leadership within the development pod and comply with internal technology controls and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate; a strong academic background in computer science or engineering is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
- 7+ years of development and end-to-end design experience, including J2EE and Java 8.
- Strong proficiency in Python or other scripting, Linux or PowerShell scripting, REST APIs, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, OAuth, LDAP, Event Hub, Kafka, or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Maven, Jenkins, Gradle, Git, Nexus, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and experience using AI in the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred qualifications include DB2, Azure cloud environments, Datadog, Autosys, and banking-domain project experience.
