Base Salary
$98k - $139k/yr
Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain the core infrastructure for Quora's ML platform.
- Build and improve distributed systems serving ML models in production.
- Optimize GPU model serving for latency, throughput, and cost.
- Contribute to platform initiatives like PyTorch-first standardization.
- Improve ML developer velocity with efficient tooling.
- Modernize the feature store for faster production of new features.
- Participate in on-call rotation to resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Availability during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm PT).
- Graduating in 2025 or 2026 with a degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Genuine interest in large-scale distributed systems and machine learning.
- Knowledge of Python, Go, or C++, or ability to learn quickly.
- Passion for learning and improving oneself and the team.
