Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and maintain traceability across requirements, designs, and test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, REST APIs, databases, performance scenarios, and messaging workflows.
- Create, execute, and analyze test cases and automated test suites, including regression, performance, data validation, and defect verification testing.
- Track, analyze, and troubleshoot defects, performance bottlenecks, availability issues, application logs, and maintenance data.
- Create and maintain automated test execution jobs, scheduled jobs, batch processes, file-transfer workflows, and CI/CD automation.
- Test applications deployed in Kubernetes environments and validate Kafka data publication, consumption, and delivery.
- Monitor application performance and metrics, conduct maintenance and re-engineering activities, and evaluate change requests.
- Support Agile/Scrum planning, backlog management, defect tracking, project milestones, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus two years of software engineering or related experience, or a master’s degree or equivalent in one of those fields.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java and industry-standard testing libraries.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, behavior-driven development, REST Assured, REST API automation, and response validation.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries for data validation, data integrity checks, and automated test verification.
- Experience executing and reporting performance tests using tools such as Apache JMeter.
- Experience validating batch processing, scheduled jobs, cron jobs, and managed file transfer workflows.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test execution jobs using Looper Pro or another CI/CD tool.
- Experience executing automated test suites using TestNG, including configuration management, parameterization, and test-results analysis.
- Experience testing applications deployed in Kubernetes and validating Kafka-based messaging workflows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with JIRA or similar tools for sprint planning, backlog management, and defect tracking.
