Base Salary
$84k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain prototype applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and ArcGIS Maps SDK.
- Design and implement user experiences for web applications and digital cartographic visualizations.
- Prototype and experiment with web-based maps and spatial data visualizations.
- Build web applications and reusable UI components using modern frameworks like React or Angular.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on APIs and tools.
- Explore emerging web visualization capabilities for advanced spatial experiences.
- Stay current with development practices and user interface design techniques.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript.
- Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Familiarity with code management systems and CI/CD.
- Foundational understanding of digital cartography and data visualization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally up to 25–50%.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
