Base Salary
$100k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot browser-based web applications and user interfaces.
- Develop and review JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code using a modern frontend framework.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive and usable interfaces.
- Define, consume, and integrate REST-based APIs into frontend experiences.
- Investigate customer-reported issues, prioritize fixes, and provide application support.
- Write unit tests, perform quality-assurance testing, participate in code reviews, and improve application quality.
- Work independently and collaboratively while handling multiple tasks or tickets and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher and U.S. citizenship.
- At least five years of relevant frontend software development or engineering experience with a related bachelor’s degree, three years with a related master’s degree, or nine years with a high-school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of or experience with JavaScript and at least one framework such as Vue, React, Angular, or Backbone.
- Experience creating or maintaining frontend web applications and working with HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with Git or comparable version-control tools and a Unix/Linux command line.
- Ability to obtain a required DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification such as Security+ within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to meet the hybrid or onsite schedule for the specific opening.
- Preferred experience includes building applications for data lakes or data warehouses, using multiple frontend frameworks, improving usability, conducting frontend code reviews, expanding automated testing, and collaborating on REST API-driven applications.
