Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, primarily by converting manual test cases into scalable automation.
- Extend the existing test framework and improve its architecture, reusability, and maintainability.
- Use AI tools to generate test cases, write and refactor automation code, analyze logs, and triage failures.
- Review requirements and technical designs for risks and testability concerns.
- Write and review test plans and test cases and perform targeted manual testing.
- Perform API, functional, integration, regression, compatibility, usability, performance, and security testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback.
- Reproduce customer issues, create bug reports, troubleshoot root causes, and manage defects through resolution.
- Contribute over time to internal tools, test utilities, and product code.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing with a strong QA mindset and attention to detail.
- Hands-on automation experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, C#, C, or C++.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and debugging, with interest in developing toward software engineering.
- Practical experience using AI coding or productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Experience testing software across Windows, Linux, and browsers.
- Experience with API testing tools or frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or pytest.
- Familiarity with Agile teams and good written English communication.
- Preferred: verbal English communication, familiarity with JIRA, TeamCity, Git, or other CI/CD tools, test automation framework development, performance or security testing tools, system or network administration, relevant certifications, and cybersecurity domain experience.
