Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release backend product features while owning them from local development through production.
- Build and optimize reliable systems for onboarding, document verification, security, shop discovery, transaction management, CRM integrations, subscriptions, referrals, and loyalty programs.
- Own and improve AWS-based infrastructure using EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, and Kinesis.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code; participate in code reviews and incident resolution.
- Document technical work and collaborate with Product and stakeholders on roadmap alignment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Backend Engineer building and maintaining scalable microservices.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and cloud environments.
- Experience or interest in GenAI-driven features such as LLMs, LangGraph, or AWS Bedrock is valued.
- Strong performance, user-experience, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Passion for FinTech, user growth, or startup environments and fluency in English.
