Base Salary
$187k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Diagnose bottlenecks and quantify defects in search and recommendation systems.
- Propose and implement state-of-the-art solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and large language models.
- Conduct A/B tests to evaluate search, ranking, retrieval, and recommendation improvements.
- Develop personalization ranking models, personalized retrieval, recommendation models, and user-understanding systems.
- Serve as a technical thought leader and build organizational consensus.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Search, Information Retrieval, Recommendation Systems, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience handling large data volumes in a distributed environment.
- PhD in Computer Science or a related engineering major is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce, social networking, or search companies is preferred.
