Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and scale multi-agent orchestration systems and autonomous workflows.
- Build and optimize advanced retrieval-augmented generation pipelines over structured and unstructured data.
- Implement state management, long- and short-term memory, self-correction, reflection loops, evaluation metrics, observability, and guardrails for LLM workflows.
- Optimize AI inference cost, latency, throughput, token usage, performance, and reliability.
- Implement access controls, encryption, authentication, and prompt-injection mitigation.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and manage data engineering projects from inception through deployment.
- Solve data ingestion and processing challenges and integrate diverse data sources across complex ecosystems.
- Partner with business units and data scientists to define requirements and deliver secure, compliant data solutions.
- Own large-scale data engineering initiatives and modernize organizational data infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers, document reusable patterns and components, share knowledge, and align development plans with global strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong full-stack expertise with hands-on experience in LLM frameworks, agentic architectures, and advanced RAG pipelines.
- Experience owning complex architectural challenges, technical debt, and end-to-end software delivery.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Preferred familiarity with cloud services and DevOps practices.
- Preferred extensive pharma or biotech experience, including GxP-compliant data pipelines, GCP/GMP/GVP frameworks, data integrity, and computer systems validation.
- Experience building scalable solutions for regulated R&D environments and optimizing fragmented workflows.
