Base Salary
$163k - $272k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define technology vision, architecture strategy, modernization roadmaps, and enterprise platform standards.
- Lead architecture reviews and govern solutions for scalability, security, reliability, performance, maintainability, privacy, and compliance.
- Architect cloud-native platforms, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, integrations, and healthcare data exchange solutions.
- Drive adoption of Azure, AWS, GCP, containerization, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, influence technology decisions, and communicate architecture to executive stakeholders.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, cloud services, vendor partnerships, and investment opportunities.
- Drive AI adoption through scalable LLM, NLP, RAG, MLOps, LLMOps, evaluation, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Promote operational excellence, resiliency, observability, performance optimization, security, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent experience is required; fewer years may be accepted with relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years of architecture and technical leadership across complex distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and large-scale enterprise platforms.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, API gateways, event-driven architectures, Kafka, messaging, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and resiliency patterns.
- Experience designing and operating secure, scalable, highly available, multi-tenant applications with strong performance and reliability focus.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, test automation, architecture governance, and engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of relational databases, caching, search technologies, analytics platforms, AI/GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
- Ability to lead architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate clearly.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, regulated environments, and preferably healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and SMART on FHIR.
- A relevant Master’s degree, healthcare or clinical software experience, enterprise modernization, cloud migration, and vendor relationship management are preferred.
