Base Salary
$141k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features for scalable distributed data pipelines on the cloud.
- Develop, maintain, and test code.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Ensure Fivetran is a reliable and secure component of customer data infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience designing and developing reusable libraries and platforms.
- Ability to write well-structured and performant code.
- Experience in code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Buildkite.
- Knowledge of observability tools like New Relic/Grafana is a plus.
- Understanding of Data Engineering is a plus.
- Experience using AI code assist and conversational AI systems is a plus.
