Responsibilities
- Identify functional and technical product changes affecting OPS activities and translate them into technical OPS backlog items.
- Provision infrastructure across all environments and integrate products with internal monitoring, backup, archiving, and log-management platforms.
- Develop and automate technical components, including industrialization scripts, deployments, and infrastructure-as-code templates.
- Implement observability indicators and ensure production requirements are integrated into delivered applications.
- Maintain operational repositories and exploitability guidelines, perform production releases, and track product SLAs.
- Guarantee production availability, provide operational reporting, and analyze and resolve incidents by identifying root causes and applying corrective actions.
Requirements
- Confirmed experience in a DevOps environment, with a focus on observability.
- Strong command of automation and industrialization practices.
- Good understanding of distributed architectures and monitoring systems.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK, and Zabbix.
- Knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Windows, and VMware.
- Scripting and automation skills with Bash/Shell, Python, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of F5, firewalls, proxies, DNS, and tcpdump.
- Knowledge of JVM/Java, JBoss, Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, and WSO2 API Manager.
- Knowledge of Redis, MySQL, DB2, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and MQSeries.
- Analytical mindset, responsiveness, and ability to work in an agile team.
