Base Salary
$185k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Deploy, scale, and manage machine learning applications and Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
- Integrate applications with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and other data sources and services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Maintain on-premises servers and storage services running Ceph, PostgreSQL, and NFS.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, production, cloud, and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate across teams on cloud-native tools and practices and participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python and FastAPI API development.
- Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and managing AWS EKS and Kubernetes clusters.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS S3, AWS RDS, and VPCs.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins and database systems including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NFS.
- Experience with Ceph, Linux system administration, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, perform thorough testing, troubleshoot effectively, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes operators, Helm charts, on-premises Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
