Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain security tools and associated configurations.
- Manage and coordinate tool updates when new versions are released.
- Work with platform teams to deploy security tools and changes after validating performance and functionality.
- Evaluate market solutions for viability in DRW’s environment and use cases.
- Harden client operating-system builds and automate security-hardening checks.
- Define ways to measure the effectiveness of client-platform controls.
- Assess risks and provide mitigations across the client-platform environment.
- Coordinate with internal and external operations teams to triage, investigate, and remediate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required.
- Scripting or development experience in a high-level language and willingness to expand that repertoire.
- Experience maintaining physical and virtual Windows, Linux, or macOS client platforms.
- Understanding of network fundamentals and protocols.
- Deep technical understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS client operating systems; mobile OS experience with iOS or Android is a plus.
- Experience with endpoint security suites and frameworks, including antivirus, EDR/XDR, and execution-flow control.
- Strong demonstrable experience in cybersecurity engineering, design, implementation, and documentation.
- Experience with leading SOAR and SIEM solutions.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bonus experience includes CrowdStrike, Sentinel One, Carbon Black App Control, Qualys, vulnerability management, Python, PowerShell, and Linux Shell.
