Base Salary
$165k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable, extensible, integrated, and secure cloud applications and software systems for data storage and retrieval.
- Build microservices, APIs, backend systems, medical web applications, and large-scale cloud services.
- Optimize frameworks, pipelines, visualizations, dashboards, and systems for remote device management, business analytics, and reporting.
- Translate wireframes and sketches into HTML and CSS while collaborating with frontend and full-stack developers.
- Document designs and specifications for internal and regulatory documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and adopt new tools, platforms, technologies, policies, and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5+ years of work experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science plus 3+ years of work experience.
- Experience building modern cloud services using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Backend web development experience, including Python, object-oriented software design, and modern backend systems.
- Experience building APIs and RESTful web services with technologies including Node.js, Flask, Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, and SQLAlchemy.
- Frontend web development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience working with product and UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and requirements into web applications.
- Experience building data pipelines, logging, visualizations, and dashboards with Tableau or Looker.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to participate in an on-call rotation, and ability to use and program a computer for eight hours per day.
