Responsibilities
- Design, implement, tune, and evaluate machine learning models and systems.
- Develop solutions involving machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and health science.
- Apply machine learning techniques to unique and large-scale datasets and production applications.
- Use engineering best practices and novel research techniques to solve health and consumer product problems.
- Lead a team and/or collaborate cross-functionally to deliver systems with machine learning capabilities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in industry or academia.
- Experience leading a team and/or a proven record of cross-functional collaboration delivering machine learning systems.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong background in generative models, natural language processing, and large language models.
- Preferred: PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 5+ years of hands-on experience with state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning applied to large-scale datasets and/or production applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
