Responsibilities
- Design and build generative AI solutions with Python, LLMs, RAG, and agents, taking them from initial version through production.
- Assess, take over, stabilize, and further develop AI solutions built by external partners.
- Translate underlying business problems into suitable technical solutions.
- Build maintainable code, backend services, and API integrations that fit Strukton’s Azure environment.
- Measure and improve AI output systematically using test sets, evaluation criteria, and monitoring.
- Help define technical standards and architectural choices for the AI team.
- Explain technical decisions clearly to architecture, security, business stakeholders, and nontechnical colleagues.
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional Python development experience and experience bringing software used by real users into production.
- Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, agents, and evaluating AI output.
- Experience with Azure, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry, or a comparable cloud platform.
- Experience with backend development, APIs, and data sources.
- Experience taking over other people’s code and making it maintainable.
- Ability to explain technical choices clearly to architecture, security, and business stakeholders.
- Experience with document intelligence or production management of AI applications is preferred.
- Medior candidates may apply if they have independently built production solutions and taken over existing codebases.
