Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern full-stack applications for Capital Markets, including Angular/Node.js applications and C# services.
- Build user interfaces, backend APIs, and services supporting equity derivatives trading and related workflows.
- Gather feedback and refine requirements with business stakeholders, traders, and end users.
- Contribute code reviews, technical design decisions, automated tests, code coverage, and continuous delivery practices.
- Coordinate development efforts and provide technical leadership across multiple projects and initiatives.
- Debug production issues and improve platform maintainability, reliability, scalability, security, and stability.
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Develop understanding of capital markets workflows and deliver technology solutions for trading, risk, market data, and reference data needs.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience building modern web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, and modern front-end application architecture.
- Experience building backend services and APIs using C#.
- Experience with relational and document databases such as Oracle and MongoDB.
- Exposure to middleware such as MQ, Redis Cache, or Kafka.
- Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders and end users to refine requirements and technical solutions.
- Experience leading development efforts and coordinating work with other developers.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications.
- Familiarity with code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include capital markets or front-office trading experience, trading workflow knowledge, real-time or event-driven systems experience, messaging technology familiarity, desktop interoperability experience, and a product mindset.
