Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AI data platforms supporting RAG, enterprise search, document intelligence, knowledge graphs, and knowledge-driven applications.
- Develop production pipelines to ingest, parse, normalize, chunk, enrich, and validate structured and unstructured technical and clinical content.
- Implement retrieval, indexing, embeddings, vector database, hybrid search, reranking, and enterprise search migration strategies.
- Build LLM-based enrichment and AWS Bedrock solutions with prompt and model integration, guardrails, evaluation, monitoring, and traceability.
- Design graph data models, RAG pipelines, conversational and agentic application integrations, secure APIs, and application-facing services.
- Implement testing, data quality, observability, security, privacy, reliability, performance, cost controls, and production troubleshooting while mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data engineering, information systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or AI/machine learning engineering, including production data pipelines or services.
- Hands-on Python and SQL experience with version control, automated testing, code review, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Experience building cloud-based data pipelines and services using AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience designing or consuming APIs and integrating data services with downstream applications, plus understanding of data modeling, data quality, lineage, logging, and observability.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Bedrock, generative AI, RAG, enterprise search, vector and graph databases, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, conversational or agentic frameworks, AI evaluation, infrastructure as code, containerization, orchestration, MLOps or LLMOps, Windchill, regulated industries, and engineering mentorship.
