Responsibilities

Identify systemic bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities across a massive microservice architecture.
Develop and deliver technical solutions that address complex challenges.
Deep dive into the technical aspects of systems to drive continuous improvements.
Perform high-level analysis to identify and resolve root causes of performance issues.
Anticipate technical and product issues, making design decisions to prevent future bottlenecks.
Share knowledge and mentor others to ensure high standards of quality and teamwork.

Experience and knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Background working with critical, high-availability services.
Deep interest in understanding service internals, JVM architecture, and performance characteristics.
Knowledge of operating systems fundamentals is a strong plus.
Passion for performance tuning, capacity planning, and improving system efficiency.
Enthusiasm for ownership, simplicity, and a 'veracity-first' approach to problem-solving.
