Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and produce high-level designs and documentation.
- Design interfaces, protocol state machines, and test frameworks.
- Implement system software modules on C++/Linux systems.
- Conduct design reviews and code reviews.
- Integrate and debug software involving complex embedded hardware platforms.
- Optimize network and packet-processing performance.
- Lead features through requirements, design, documentation, and completion.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Engineering with 6–12 years of experience.
- M.E./M.Tech./MS/PhD with 4–6 years of relevant experience is also listed as a preferred path.
- Experience programming in C++.
- Experience with Linux-based development, including debugging, user and kernel tracing, and benchmarking.
- Deep knowledge of Linux programming, IPCs, multithreading, socket programming, and system programming.
- Knowledge of computer networks, TCP/IP, protocols, and Internet architecture.
- Working knowledge of protobuf, gtest, gmock, grpc, and Bazel is desirable.
- Knowledge of Python, Go, and Bash scripting is a plus.
- Experience with Git and ticket or collaboration systems.
- Preferred experience in cloud networking protocols, TLS or cryptography, embedded software and kernel drivers, or RF and wireless protocol development.
