Responsibilities
- Implement and manage end-to-end software development lifecycle activities, including releases.
- Break down epics into user stories or tasks, identify dependencies, and sequence technical deliverables.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and execution.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues while serving as the primary technical owner for complex queries.
- Enhance test coverage and deliver high-quality code.
- Collaborate with global development, QA, support, and other stakeholder teams.
- Contribute technical expertise to firm-wide strategic initiatives.
- Enhance and support robust, scalable JBS IT frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of developer experience with Java, Spring, React or Python, and associated technologies.
- Strong Core Java knowledge and familiarity with basic design patterns.
- Understanding of JDBC, Persistence API, and Spring-JDBC.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring framework.
- Understanding of web services and SQL, including stored procedures.
- Experience with Jira and GitLab.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and cloud-native applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication, logical problem-solving ability, professionalism, and cross-regional collaboration skills.
- Retail banking domain exposure is a plus.
- CyberArk and sensitive data handling system exposure are preferred but not mandatory.
- Japanese work culture exposure is preferred but not mandatory; Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not required.
