Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering, software design, coding, testing, and deployment in compliance with DO-178B guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Develop software documentation and user manuals.
- Implement Linux services to port applications.
- Address real-time challenges involving concurrent processes in multicore environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- At least 2 years of software development experience, including internships and project work.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Embedded C++.
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
- Understanding of operating system concepts and familiarity with build and debug toolchains.
- Preferred experience developing user interface, display, or Electronic Flight Instrumentation System software for safety-critical real-time embedded products.
- Preferred experience developing embedded-system applications for aerospace products and designing software for multicore environments.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person or have the ability to obtain export authorization under applicable U.S. export control laws.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
