Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test Forescout eyeSight product features.
- Improve product capabilities and enhance customer experience through new functionality.
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders and product management on product use cases and roadmap definition.
- Work with QA, technical publications, support, and other teams on end-to-end product delivery.
- Mentor junior members of the development team.
- Learn, evaluate, and explain emerging security technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of industry experience developing software, preferably with Java.
- At least 2 years delivering production software, including designing, implementing, testing, documenting, and delivering enterprise-grade software.
- Hands-on experience with Java and Python, or at least two languages among Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and macOS, with a strong preference for Linux.
- Networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SSH, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, OSI and TCP/IP models, network security concepts, packet analysis, troubleshooting, and enterprise network architectures.
- Experience diagnosing connectivity issues and integrating distributed systems across on-premises and cloud environments is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of security product categories including SIEM, UEBA, CASB, VA, NGFW, ATD, PAM, and EMM is highly desirable.
- Experience designing and shipping end-to-end AI solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Only U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents will be considered.
