Base Salary
$210k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and build foundational systems for autonomous agents.
- Develop agent execution systems, including task loops and control planes.
- Create retrieval and memory architectures for context and long-term memory.
- Implement multi-model routing and orchestration across providers.
- Design tool-calling frameworks for safe interactions with external services.
- Establish reliability, security, and operability foundations.
Requirements
- Deep experience in building and operating complex backend or distributed systems.
- Experience with LLM-powered or AI-native systems in production.
- Strong architectural judgment regarding reliability and security.
- Ability to invent or improve abstractions and workflows.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous areas and validating ideas rapidly.
- Proficient in TypeScript, with Python strongly preferred.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with production infrastructure.
