Base Salary
$129k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate Cisco products and services to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and opportunities for security improvement.
- Use specialized offensive-security tools and techniques to emulate real-world adversaries and proactively secure systems.
- Conduct red teaming and penetration testing involving remote access, network penetration, Command and Control, and covert channels in cloud environments.
- Partner with engineering teams to assess complex architectures and develop creative security solutions.
- Research emerging security topics and develop new tools and ideas independently or collaboratively.
- Deliver highly secured solutions for critical global customers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field with security research or project-based experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional security experience.
- 2+ years of red teaming or penetration testing experience focused on remote access, network penetration, Command and Control development and use, and covert channels in cloud environments.
- 4+ years of Unix experience, including applicable academic experience.
- Industry experience with AI/ML frameworks and offensive security tooling.
- U.S. Person status is required for work on U.S. Government classified environments and certain U.S.-citizen-only work.
- Preferred qualifications include DevOps engineering experience and offensive-security testing experience across web applications, APIs, user interfaces, mobile devices, and embedded devices.
- Preferred qualifications include full-spectrum red-team tactics and experience in SOC, SRE, or incident-response roles.
- Strong collaboration, communication, adaptability, and ability to engage with multifunctional engineering teams are preferred.
