Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations across portfolio assessment, application planning and design, deployment architecture, development, integration, testing, operations, optimization, and best-practice adoption.
- Deliver classroom-based technical training to customer architects, developers, and operations professionals.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers, project managers, account teams, Product, and Engineering.
- Act as a trusted advisor to guide customers and support successful MongoDB adoption.
- Communicate technical proposals and product roadmap information clearly to varied customer audiences.
- Influence MongoDB product development by contributing customer and field experience.
- Maintain the required level of billable utilization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development, consulting, or support experience, preferably across multiple industries or verticals.
- Competence in at least one of Java, C#, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong motivation for a role combining deep technical work with customer management.
- Confidence speaking and presenting in collaborative customer settings.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently for short customer-site trips during the work week, up to 15%.

- U.S. base salary range of $123,000-$242,000.
