Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Program Managers to understand customer requirements and develop solutions.
- Design, code, and deploy scalable services and platform components supporting developer tooling across Ads.
- Build AI-native capabilities that help engineers discover context, plan and execute changes, and navigate software delivery workflows.
- Improve developer productivity, development velocity, software delivery workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure code is testable, maintainable, scalable, and has a low operational footprint.
- Work directly with Ads engineers to identify workflow friction and improve developer tools and services.
- Participate in operational responsibilities and collaborate with engineering teams across Ads.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 or more years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred qualification includes a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $143,700.00 to $194,400.00 USD annually, with additional sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
