Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure full-stack web applications, APIs, services, and integrations.
  • Build responsive, accessible, user-centered front-end experiences and robust back-end services, data-access layers, and integrations.
  • Design data models, develop queries, optimize performance, and support application integrations across relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Translate requirements, wireframes, and design specifications into scalable technical designs and production-quality software.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and troubleshoot complex production issues across applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Deploy and operate applications in cloud-native environments using containers, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Partner with product, UX/UI, infrastructure, platform, security, and business teams to deliver reliable, secure, accessible, and maintainable solutions.
  • Contribute to technical standards and architecture decisions, mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and champion engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Design, or a directly related field is required.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of directly related experience is required.
  • Strong full-stack development experience across modern front-end, back-end, API, database, and integration technologies.
  • Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks, plus back-end development with Java, Python, .NET, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience designing, developing, securing, and supporting APIs, application services, system integrations, and relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience building, deploying, and operating scalable applications in cloud-native environments and using a major cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of secure software development, application security, authentication, authorization, web vulnerabilities, software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, accessibility, usability, and responsive design.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor peers and influence technical direction.
