Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade payment applications using Java or .NET.
- Build and support APIs, integrations, and application services for secure and reliable payment processing.
- Provide Level 3 technical ownership for complex application, database, integration, API, and cloud-service issues.
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and permanent corrective-fix implementation.
- Support major incident restoration and improve production stability through engineering changes.
- Develop AI-enabled support and automation solutions, including assistants, RCA summaries, log analysis, alert correlation, and ticket triage.
- Support and troubleshoot Azure-hosted applications, containers, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, and deployment automation.
- Develop automation scripts and tools with Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Support release validation, environment automation, deployment governance, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain incident, problem, change, and resolution records and analyze service-performance trends.
- Follow and improve ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Knowledge Management practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on application development experience with Java or .NET and the ability to debug, enhance, and support enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting mission-critical applications at Level 3, including code-level troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and production stability improvements.
- Working knowledge of payment applications, APIs, integrations, transaction processing, or financial-services technology is valuable.
- Database experience with MongoDB and SQL, including query analysis, stored procedures, performance troubleshooting, and data investigation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure or another major cloud platform, including application hosting, monitoring, security, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
- Understanding of DevOps, observability, logging, monitoring, incident tracking, and deployment practices.
- Good understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management practices.
- Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, Azure AI Services, OpenAI, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, or intelligent automation.
- Preferred experience includes AI-powered support tools, payment platforms, SWIFT, ISO 20022, transaction monitoring, reconciliation, financial messaging systems, Kubernetes, Rancher, ServiceNow, Azure monitoring, or enterprise observability platforms.
- Cloud or ITIL certifications are desirable.
