Responsibilities
- Build applied AI products and backend systems supporting pipeline, revenue, and go-to-market effectiveness.
- Develop agent workflows, tools, integrations, evaluation systems, and guardrails.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into shippable software.
- Design and operate APIs, services, workflows, and data pipelines for lead management, attribution, and automation.
- Own projects from prototype through production while maintaining reliability, security, observability, and maintainability.
- Shape technical direction, establish reusable engineering patterns, coach engineers, and lead improvements to architecture and engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience building production backend or full-stack systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python or a similar backend language, including API, service, and data model design.
- Experience independently owning ambiguous projects from problem definition through launch and iteration.
- Strong product judgment and ability to work with non-technical users and stakeholders.
- Experience integrating systems with external APIs, internal platforms, or enterprise software.
- Curiosity about applied AI and ability to learn evolving models, tools, and product patterns.
- Experience coaching engineers and leading changes to engineering practices, architecture, or ways of working.
- Preferred experience includes production LLM applications, tool or function calling, AI agents, multi-step AI workflows, AI evaluation, context engineering, retrieval, prompt design, model selection, permissions, guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows, AWS, serverless architectures, queues, scheduled workflows, infrastructure as code, and sales, B2B marketing, revenue, CRM, or campaign systems.
- Must be independently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
