Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate highly available, fast, and efficient media platform services.
- Develop software and automation to reduce operational load and improve reliability.
- Support public-facing web and API services, media-processing pipelines, internal systems, and machine learning model infrastructure.
- Deploy, support, and monitor new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks.
- Help transition bare-metal services to modern cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes microservices.
- Troubleshoot complex systems and infrastructure issues while partnering closely with development teams.
Requirements
- A BS degree in computer science or equivalent field with 6+ years of experience, or an MS degree in computer science or equivalent field with 4+ years of experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in a reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused role.
- Advanced experience with Go, Python, Java, and C++.
- Deep systems and infrastructure knowledge.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Experience deploying, supporting, and monitoring services, platforms, and application stacks.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results on time and a strong commitment to automation.
