Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of distributed backend services supporting labor planning across new business lines and geographies.
- Partner with Science and Data Engineering to productionize machine learning models and data pipelines.
- Lead architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, testing strategy, and operational best practices.
- Drive cross-team technical initiatives from ambiguous problems to incremental, shippable plans.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance toward senior-level ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of reliable and scalable systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
