Responsibilities
- Define technical best practices and drive adoption across the team.
- Lead code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering standards.
- Create architectures and designs for new and existing systems.
- Design and scale distributed systems supporting real-time conversational AI, search, and customer engagement.
- Architect LLM-based agent pipelines and embedding-based search systems.
- Build and scale real-time communication and CRM infrastructure.
- Own system reliability through instrumentation, observability, and scalable system design.
- Mentor engineers and raise overall team capabilities.
- Own technology and tooling decisions and implement the team’s long-term technology vision.
Requirements
- B Tech or M Tech in Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
- 6–8 years of experience in a product development company.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Extensive experience building and operating distributed systems, including message queues, event-driven architectures, search engines, caching, and asynchronous processing.
- Proficiency in Go or Python, ideally both.
- Ability to independently lead projects from design through production.
- Strong system design skills and experience owning end-to-end architecture.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and AWS.
- Production experience with AI/ML systems, LLM integration, embedding models, or prompt engineering.
- Experience building conversational AI or agent-based systems in production.
- Familiarity with LLM orchestration, RAG patterns, or multi-agent architectures.
- Experience with real-time communication systems and search or ranking infrastructure.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and improving team capabilities.
- Experience using or willingness to adopt AI coding tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
