Responsibilities
- Develop scalable AI solutions for payment optimization, agent-native operations, and customer-facing conversational AI across regional financial-services markets.
- Build predictive models for classification, ranking, online learning, recommendation engines, and transaction and customer profiling.
- Design and deploy generative AI solutions using prompt engineering, agent orchestration, model fine-tuning, evaluation datasets, and guardrails.
- Build end-to-end MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
- Own AI capabilities from concept through production deployment while balancing performance, latency, cost, scalability, and business trade-offs.
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations teams to create solutions and product changes informed by data and business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an individual-contributor AI or data-science role.
- Expert proficiency in Python, Spark, and SQL, including Presto or Hive.
- Strong understanding of machine-learning concepts including bagging, boosting, online learning, and recommendation engines.
- Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangSmith, or LangChain and LLM orchestration.
- Expertise in productionizing machine-learning solutions with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker and deploying scalable cloud components.
- Experience with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning such as LoRA or PEFT, evaluation, monitoring, and production AI systems.
- Ability to follow clean coding, modular design, and version-control practices using Git or GitHub.
