Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement LLM-powered and generative AI solutions end to end.
- Design scalable production-grade APIs, pipelines, orchestration layers, RAG systems, agentic workflows, and hybrid architectures.
- Build reusable code libraries, tools, frameworks, accelerators, templates, and reference architectures.
- Define and apply evaluation, monitoring, observability, guardrail, fallback, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Optimize AI systems across latency, cost, accuracy, reliability, robustness, and maintainability.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into structured AI approaches, measurable outcomes, and solution success metrics.
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders, contribute to client discussions and proofs of concept, and support proposal development.
- Participate in software development, code reviews, design reviews, testing, deployment, maintenance, and quality improvement.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal training, knowledge sharing, and capability building.
- Evaluate emerging generative AI technologies and contribute to non-GenAI AI/ML initiatives when needed.
Requirements
- Strong experience with generative AI, NLP, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and multimodal models.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Azure OpenAI function calling, and at least one agentic framework such as CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph, n8n, LangFlow, SmolAgents, or Semantic Kernel.
- Knowledge of hybrid retrieval, knowledge graph retrieval, multi-hop RAG, hierarchical and contextual retrieval, and RAG evaluation and monitoring.
- Knowledge of classical NLP applications including classification, topic modeling, question answering, conversational AI, search, Document AI, summarization, content generation, and named entity recognition.
- Experience with Databricks Genie, Databricks AI/BI, Azure Databricks, MLflow, Unity Catalog, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and MCP components.
- Proficiency with Python and FastAPI; familiarity with Flask and Docker is beneficial.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps, including Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure AI Search, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AgentOps or LLMOps, LLM observability and tracing, prompt and version management, experimentation, governance, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of document digitization, OCR, Azure Document Intelligence or equivalent, and Azure Delta Lake is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate architecture and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Willingness to contribute to proofs of concept, solution prototyping, proposal workflows, and broader AI/ML projects.
