Responsibilities
- Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy robust and scalable AI/ML models for production systems.
- Collaborate with Platforms and Devices product teams and research teams to deliver AI-based features.
- Work with the Mountain View-based team and its product-team partnerships to maximize engagement efficiency and impact.
- Identify common needs across engagements and build shared infrastructure and models for reuse.
- Transfer AI knowledge and expertise to product teams to support future AI-driven initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience in speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML field.
- 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: experience in machine learning, deep learning, and AI development with a record of building and deploying production-level models.
- Preferred: experience in a research or academic setting, collaborating with researchers and translating research findings into practical applications.
- Preferred: experience collaborating with product teams to deliver AI solutions.
- Preferred: ability to work effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
