Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure Google Ads services in the AViD ecosystem meet appropriate reliability and uptime targets while monitoring capacity and performance.
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for operations and infrastructure problems, including AI-powered automation and agentic production workflows.
- Lead and contribute to the cross-SRE AI Ops program, driving adoption of AI/ML tools for incident response, toil reduction, and service reliability.
- Optimize existing systems, build infrastructure, and eliminate operational work through automation and AI-driven improvements.
- Drive technical engineering projects and decisions, influence engineering direction across teams, and mentor executive-level engineers within AViD SRE and Ads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, including Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience leading technical strategy and influencing engineering direction across multiple teams.
- Experience leading cross-organizational technical programs or initiatives at scale.
- Experience with agentic systems and AI-supported production operations, including LLM-based tooling, AI-driven automation, or intelligent incident response systems.
- Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and adapt strategically to complex environments.
