Responsibilities
- Architect scalable and resilient platform environments through reusable standards and tools, data modeling, schema optimization, performance engineering, and UX/UI improvements.
- Design, develop, and review SQL views, stored procedures, and high-concurrency REST/SOAP APIs.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, resource contention, and latency across the web application stack.
- Analyze database execution plans, JVM and memory utilization, and Locust load-test outputs to identify architectural root causes.
- Lead technical teams through the full software development lifecycle and define non-functional requirements and production-readiness strategies.
- Translate system diagnostics into recommendations for technical stakeholders and mentor junior developers on DevSecOps and coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics.
- At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 8 years in enterprise web application architecture, deployment, and delivery.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Python and SQL, with strong proficiency in JavaScript or Java.
- Advanced experience with relational data modeling using SQL Server, Oracle, or MariaDB, plus custom APIs and middleware or ESB orchestration layers.
- Experience with web infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, DevSecOps pipelines, Selenium, and performance, load, and penetration testing.
- Preferred experience in agile engineering environments, Generative AI integrations, LLM application pipelines, vector databases, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
