Responsibilities
- Develop C applications for Linux/Unix environments.
- Build multithreaded and multiprocess applications using process synchronization techniques.
- Implement inter-process communication using shared memory, queues, and file handling.
- Develop TCP/IP and UDP socket programming solutions.
- Debug Linux applications using GDB and improve application performance for low-latency use cases.
- Work with pointers, data structures, and Unix/Linux system concepts.
- Collaborate with clients and communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of development experience in C.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux.
- Excellent knowledge of pointers and IPC in Unix, including shared memory.
- Experience with multithreading, multiprocessing, socket programming, data structures, and process synchronization.
- Working experience with Linux application debugging tools, including GDB.
- Knowledge of the GCC compiler and version control.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with client interaction experience.
- Exposure to trading or real-time applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of shell script development is preferred.
