Responsibilities
- Take ownership of existing security tooling and implement new ones.
- Embed secure-by-design practices into the development lifecycle.
- Monitor systems for irregular behavior and design detection mechanisms.
- Ensure infrastructure and applications align with industry standards.
- Conduct and lead risk assessments, including vendor reviews.
- Document and maintain security policies as part of the ISMS.
- Partner with leadership to demonstrate security posture to customers.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing security tooling.
- Familiarity with AWS's security ecosystem and enterprise security tools.
- Solid foundations in networking, systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with secure SDLC practices and threat modeling.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
- Ability to automate security tasks using programming languages.
- Proactive mindset towards risk reduction and security improvement.
