Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy computer vision and perception models for edge-compatible environments.
- Build multi-sensor perception systems that fuse various data into coherent battlefield views.
- Enhance the accuracy and robustness of Lattice's understanding of objects and environments.
- Integrate advanced machine learning algorithms into production systems.
- Develop evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to measure perception performance.
- Collaborate with software and product teams to operationalize research ideas.
- Identify new perception problems to drive product impact.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in developing computer vision or machine learning systems.
- Strong experience with deep learning, object detection, and tracking frameworks.
- Proficient in Python for building reliable workflows.
- Desire to innovate and implement novel techniques in defense applications.
- Experience with training and evaluating vision models for various tasks.
- Ability to deploy ML systems in real-time or edge environments.
- Eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
