Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and evolve partner solutions, reusable components, service enablers, APIs, and full-stack applications.
- Take technical ownership of development tasks, lead technical initiatives, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
- Drive technical work with Project Managers and Solution Architects and support application architecture and technical roadmap activities.
- Collaborate with architecture, product, design, business analysis, UI/UX, and development teams to define solutions and integrate front-end and back-end systems.
- Establish coding standards, automated testing strategies, development best practices, performance optimization, and engineering quality controls.
- Create technical documentation, development guidelines, reusable patterns, and team standards, and participate in onboarding, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
- Help evolve partner APIs and service enablers for consistency, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Explore AI-assisted development and other modern engineering practices to improve productivity, delivery speed, and software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, including several years of hands-on full-stack development in complex production environments.
- Strong professional experience with TypeScript and modern full-stack application development.
- Deep hands-on AWS experience, including serverless architectures and cloud-native services.
- Hands-on development experience with Node.js and React.js.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs or comparable service interfaces.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, with AWS CDK strongly preferred.
- Understanding of scalable application architecture, reusable components, integration patterns, performance, and maintainability.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, coding standards, debugging, performance optimization, and software quality practices.
- Ability to take technical ownership and collaborate with architects, project leads, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and fluent written and spoken English.
- Automotive industry or automotive-related digital or service-environment experience is a plus.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development, generative AI tools, architectural design, technology evaluation, technical roadmaps, developer-platform components, SDKs, service frameworks, technical workshops, onboarding, mentoring, or communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
